Didn't Accept Their Own Coupon

Don't count on free admission to the Admiral by applying with your email address and printing the coupon they send you. I wanted to show a female friend who'd never been to a club what it's like and I'd been to the Admiral a number of times long ago. So we each did the online thing and got passes. They told us one "would not scan." They were both printed on the same laser printer, and, no, I did not accidentally print the same one twice (the QR codes were easily seen as different). Not wanting to be scammed into having to pay for one of us, we turned around and left.

I'm no business genius but seems to me that when you have two live bodies wanting to enter your business eager to spend money on tips and overpriced soda, encouraging them to leave on account of your computer issues can't be good for the bottom line but maybe there's some angle I haven't figured on. Maybe a certain percentage of faux computer glitches are part of the programming like if a large group comes in with passes have errors for a few and they are apt to pony up. Nice try, Admiral, but it did not work for us.
