I managed a quick trip to Detroit to check out the strip club scene and quickly reached a very simple conclusion - what they say about Detroit strip clubs is all true!

Penthouse was my first stop. I pulled off the street into the very crowded valet parking area and turned over my car to the attendants ($8 plus tip). It was just before 5 pm so I entered the club with no cover and sat at the bar. My drink of choice was a Coke for $8.25 plus tip. There were about 8-10 customers, mostly clustered around the bar. On stage was a gorgeous brunette who gave rise to the thought that if her looks were typical of all the dancers I'd see that evening it would be a very fine evening. Within minutes I was approached by a short brunette, about 5'2", 130 lbs, B-C chest, overall about a 7. We struck up a conversation and chatted for about 15 minutes before she brought up the subject of dances. I took her up on the offer and had two dances in the curtain-enclosed booth at $25 each. The dances were mediocre and I called a halt at that point. Out of curiosity I asked about other services. She asked what I was interested in, I bluntly replied FS and she said, sure, for $500. Given that her lap dances were not at all special I replied no thanks and turned to leave. She immediately dropped the price to $300. Still not interested. I made the excuse that I didn't have that much cash on me, and she kindly offered to direct me to the ATM. Still no and we parted company.

I returned to the bar and resumed watching the stage dancers. At that point the parade began. One after another at about 5 minute intervals it seemed that every girl in the place approached me with the same MO. Each would say hello and move in very close and while chatting she would put a hand on my crotch and start rubbing. This would continue for about 2 minutes max. when she would inquire about dances. I can honestly say I have never seen such continuous aggression in a club except maybe at Follies in Atlanta. One blond told me she had worked in Dallas. Having spent some time in Dallas myself I asked if she had danced in Dallas and where. She replied that Dallas was too restrictive for her, that she was an "extras" girl. That's the first time I've heard that so brazenly put from a "dancer". This continued with other girls until I was so worked up that I was at risk of getting off just from all the over-the-pants hand jobs. I was "saved" by the 7 pm shift change when all the dancers were called to the stage at once. The afternoon dancers then immediately cleared out and the evening dancers slowly trickled in, giving me a few minutes respite to calm down.
