Good Bargain on Dances. Girls are Good Enough to Make it Work.

There have been a lot of clubs I've been to in the past few years I haven't managed to review. Lots of unfinished reviews, including for this place. I get to San Antonio from time to time, and this club I like but not as much as I used to. First things first, the DJ cuts the songs short now. Catch is I was there on a Tuesday which is $5 dances all day, but the only time I've ever been in the club was during the $5 dance hours and don't recall the songs ever being that short. But even so you're still looking at around $10 for a regular length song and a dance which would run you about $20-$30 a song in most places. The songs seemed like they were around 3 minutes on average, so the numbers are probably a little better than that. Girls still start on the main stage, top on. Second song top off. Next two songs on side stages. Main floor is lowered, so you have a good view from any seat in the club including the bar. Not an upscale club, but it has a good layout. Laid back environment. Attentive waitress.

Another change to the club since my last visit was the seating arrangement. The tables along the back wall in front of the VIP area have been replaced by the same square seat booths (separated by the little armrest tables) like the ones that line the wall the DJ booth is on. To make matters worse, guys were planted in those seats even when not getting dances. Note to management: you are costing your girls and yourselves money. Stop that. On at least two occasions dances I was willing to pay for didn't happen because PLs were seat blocking and I don't do dances tableside. Gently nudge those guys out. Also, if any of you seat warmers happens to be reading this, when stripper is grinding in another dude's lap do not talk to stripper. Girls talking to girls, not great but ok. Custie in love with crusty pants talking to girls, not ok. Ever.

The girls dancing the day I was there were ok. Kind of like McDonald's is ok. The food is there, and you know what you're getting for not that much money. Depending on your mood it might even taste pretty good. I had gotten seriously rained on the day I was there, so I was going to check out the show at least until my clothes were dry. Not that many girls and the songs were short, so I was able see what the club was working with pretty quickly. Lineup was almost exclusively latina. Most of them plus size. However, they were all put together well and put on a decent show on the three stages. Around 20 customers, less than 10 girls, crowd seemed happy. Very long waits for the girls, but guys seemed to deal with it. I am not a regular face, so I was on the wait list myself for a couple girls. One girl in particular (skiny leggy blonde with a shockingly nice ass) was doing the slow stroll, but I tipped her on stage and said I was leaving soon and she was right there. Dancers like money. Guys like dancers. It works.
