Same Ol'
CH3 is back as one of my clubs in Las Vegas, more with a sigh rather than with any excitement. I had a short trip this time so I didn't want to be adventurous in club hunting. Thing about this place is that costs and pricing are really hard to pin down, not only from visit to visit but from girl to girl.
I drove myself and the cover was waved (doorman said he'd tell them I was a local). As I now regularly start a tab for my drinks, I'm not really sure about the dink by drink prices anymore and are only pleasantly surprised if the bar tab is under $100. Thing about this trip that I would like to pass on to my fellow hounds is to be aware of the varied pricing the different girls will give you. They are exercising their rights as independent contractors to set pricing as they see fit. I was still quoted $20 for the floor. I had one girl quote me $150 for the 3 dance VIP but dropped it to $120 while in the same night I had another say it was just $100 (but then asked for a tip). In VIP, girls seem to have to tip out the VIP Host $20 when they leave and if they get that from us instead, the better. 3 song/15 min now comes with a single $25 drink min. Half hour is two for $50 and an hour is 4 for $100 in addition to usually dance fees. Like other clubs, these expensive VIP drink minimums are really turning me off VIP which is already costly as it is.
This is why I have a love/hate relationship with this club. The staff is good. I always find the one girl there who I enjoy and like to spend my entire stay with. And Herb, the bathroom attendant, is STILL there after all these years. Yet the expense, fees and moving target on prices just always leaves me with a bad taste when I go and mutes what probably otherwise was a great experience to also a feeling of being fleeced. Ah, if I just didn't have to worry about a small thing like money.
