Still going downhill

My last review of this club was somewhat critical, I'm sorry to report that things haven't improved much from my perspective.

The physical layout of the club and details on pricing haven't changed much since my last review, so I won't rehash all of that. I will comment that it does appear that they've made a dramatic improvement to the lighting. I was able to walk about the club without running into chairs because I couldn't see the floor, but it still had the dark feel of a strip club. The stage lighting is still piss poor though. On this visit, I walked in around 5pm on Tuesday. It's usually a fairly busy day, since dances are half off at $10 each. It was fairly lively inside, but not packed. I'd say 15 dancers or so and only a few empty tables. All of the numerous "VIP" area's were totally unused though, as is fairly typical for all but the busiest times.

The best looking dancer was a 7.5, a darker skinned Haitian girl who either wasn't used to her heels or more likely had some sort of a limp. Most of the girls where black, I'd say 70% or so. They weren't the type with thick thighs and big butts though, they were smaller sized with less pronounced curves. All of the girls except one were smaller sized (one was borderline fat, thick if I'm being generous), but only one was what I'd consider slim/fit. The others all had much more flab than I prefer, they still looked slim from a distance in the dim stage lighting, but upon closer inspection what little curves they had still sagged. This is where it starts going downhill. When I arrived, there was one of the slim black girls getting on stage. She meandered around the stage putting forth almost no effort whatsoever, and remained fully clothed the entire time. A few customers tried to tip her, and she barely acknowledged them at all, much less took anything off. That performance was followed by two songs of empty stage, while the DJ called up the next girl who was apparently in the dressing room. When she finally got on stage (another black girl, but this time very tall and a bit thicker but not fat) she was only very slightly more engaged than the girl before her. She did eventually take off her top for her 3rd song, but that's it. After that, another unexplained 3-4 songs with no one on the stage, then a decent looking white girl got on stage. She was wearing a once-piece with some holes cut out to expose her midriff & back. She took the top half off pretty quick into the first song and seemed to actually try to be entertaining on stage, so I was a bit excited & tipped her. She was nice & thanked me, but this isn't the type of club where there's any action at the rail (meaning, I barely touched her thigh giving her a couple bucks.) A few others tipped, but she never took her bottoms off. After that, there was some more of the same sort of thing for a while. Breaks of 2-4 songs with no one on stage in between every girl, no girl took her bottoms off, very little effort on stage, and very average looking girls. I stuck around cause I wanted to get a dance from the cute little Haitian girl & she was popular so I couldn't get her eye right away. I wasn't in a rush anyway. Eventually, an older dancer went on stage and while I didn't find her the least bit attractive she was very good on stage, gracious with tipping, and got naked. I think she was followed by the girl I had my eye on, who was also the same way. After those two, it went back to the same shit with another girl who didn't take off a thing and basically just stood at the pole watching TV. Because I was so bored, I took to timing the songs (fucking Papi Chulo has turned me into a statistician) and wasn't impressed. Songs varied between 2:30 & 3:30, with the 15 songs I timed ringing in at almost 45 mins on the dot. Eventually, I got my mitts on the girl I was eyeing. I did a few dances, maybe 6-8, and they were good for $10, much better than the last time I came here. But, they didn't compare to Cheetah or even Monroes, much less the Date/Broward clubs. I probably would have stopped at 1 or 2 max if they were the full price, $20.
