Monthly Party Review

The bird threw their monthly Saturday party this past week. I usually don't go to this club on Friday's or Saturday's because I'm too cheap to pay the cover, but they said if you dress up for this event you would pay no cover. I went in planning to stay for an hour or so. The place was much busier than usual compared with the nights I usually visit, but a couple of dancers assured me that it was less busy than a "normal Saturday." I highly doubt it.

The club is decent. Of the 3 Lawrence clubs I visit, this one is the nicest facility. They have a decent menu and the food isn't bad. They have two stages, but only one gets used. On week nights, the stage is empty a LOT of the time. I wouldn't think that is a huge deal if there were no people there or all the dancers were busy with customers. But, at any given time there are usually 2-3 dancers just sitting around doing nothing, and most of the time there are at least 3-5 guys willing to tip for stage dances.

There is a range of girls in this club. Some are really good looking, though I don't think I've ever seen anything over a 9. The usual is in the 5-7 range, but they have a few older and sometimes plump girls some nights. Most of the girls are pretty nice, but they tend to be hustling too often. It blows my mind how a decent looking girl will bounce from table to table all night trying to land a couple of dances, but if they would just sit down and chat someone up they would make some $$. Anyway, I had come in this night to see a particular girl. She's very nice, but has average looks. Took a while for her to come find me, but we had a couple of drinks and I took her back to VIP as I had promised to do the last time I was in. After paying the $10 to get into VIP, I tried to negotiate a deal with my girl, but I guess she just didn't quite get what was being offered. The dances were okay, and she got a little frisky, but nothing to make me want to repeat the experience. I ended up paying her way more than I should have in an attempt to get her to loosen up a bit before the end of the night. Then things got weird. I'm not going to get into what happened, but let's just say she won't be getting any more generous tips from me again. I've been back since then and have avoided anything beyond singles for stage dances with this girl.
