Reliably fun club near downtown Austin

I visit Austin once or twice a year for a week or two at a time and always find the time to visit a few strip clubs. When I started coming here seven years ago, my favorite clubs were Yellow Rose, Sugar's Uptown Cabaret, and Expose. Now the first two of those have dropped out of my regular rotation, replaced by recent discoveries XTC and Landing Strip, and only Expose remains from my original favorites.

Expose is the closest strip club to downtown, just three miles south of 6th Street, the center of Austin's vibrant music scene and nightlife. It is easily found at 3615 S. Congress, situated up on a little hill at the NE corner of Congress and Alpine. I have visited this club many times over the years and usually get there by driving south on I-35 to the Woodward Street exit, then turning right on Woodward past St. Edwards University and turning left onto S. Congress.

Cover is $5 at all times. Lap dances cost $10 until 8:00 and all day Sunday. I've never eaten here, but I believe that you can get a pretty good cheeseburger or steak sandwich and fries for $4.99. Beer seems to cost $5-6.
