I'd been to Penthouse over a year and a half ago on a Saturday evening. I had a great time then and decided to come back when I was in Detroit again. I got in after a full day of travel and headed over to the club about 10pm. Mandatory valet was $8 and I was concerned about safety given some of the other reviews from a few months back. From my experience, whatever hiccups they were having, all seemed worked out by my trip.
Inside the club was clean and well-maintained, just like before. Even with a full house (every seat was taken and several people standing upstairs), the staff did a great job keeping the place looking tip-top. Downstairs has booths around the edges and you can get one, if available, for $20. Between the booths and the stages are tables, some seating 4, and at the stage only seating 2. I sat down and ordered my first $8 beer. That evening (and it seems the norm for busy times with lots of dancers) is that each girl does 5 stations, 2 on the main stage in the middle of the club, 2 on the side stages, and 1 on the bar stage. Each song was about 2:30, so if you tip a girl in the first stage, unless you follow her around (and don't do that, please), it's going to be a while. My biggest complaint is that you cannot hear ANYTHING in this club except the annoying fucking DJ. I get that he has to maintain the dancer protocol, but when he's announcing it for 15 seconds every 2 minutes, 10% of the time in the club is listening to his fucking voice at 80 billion decibels. Whenever he's talking, it's so loud you can't talk to anyone else or even think.
I tipped a couple of girls on the stage, particularly ones I liked. There was one, D***y (like the flower), with bleach-blonde, shoulder-length hair, and a beautiful smile. She had what appeared to be natural DD+ breasts with pierced nipples. I wanted so badly to find out for myself, but it never materialized. I tipped her very well and we exchanged smiles while she was dancing, but as soon as she left stage, she would head back to regulars (so it seemed). Another cutie, E***y (like Dickinson, the poet), was young and all-natural, with brown hair. I wanted to get to know her, but she, too, disappeared after her final stage. Around the 6th girl on stage, I met my first offer of the night from a slender, brunette wearing glasses, introducing herself as S*a*e (rhymes with rain). I tipped her on her first station and she asked if I wanted company when she got done. She was very forward. Some people might like that. I watched the others and when she finished she came over. She plopped on my lap and started rubbing me outside my clothing, with the standard stripper lines (where you from, having a good time, what do you do, you want a dance). We got to business pretty quickly when she said, "so let's get #1 out of the way so we can start working on #2." She offered an open menu of extras FS for $$$, CBJ for $$ and BBJ for $$+tip. I don't usually go for spinners--I like women a little fuller figure--so I passed. In retrospect, that was probably a mistake; if she's anywhere near as aggressive in the VIP room as she in sales on the floor, it's probably a world-class experience.
