visit to showcase on a weekday night

So, for those who are unaware, the DC area has pretty slim pickings for decent strip clubs. Mainly because DC, while allowing nude dancers, is SUPER STRICT about no touching. And nearby VA doesn't even have topless clubs - they are all pasties.

But Maryland does allow lapdances and naked girls. However, most of the worthwhile clubs are in Baltimore. Showcase is a bit different - it is in MD, right outside the DC beltway, and does lapdances right. They are filling a market void, and the lapdances are good. I may be grading on a curve, like how you think water tastes like the best thing in the world if you are dehydrated, but I had a thoroughly good time here.

The club itself is not much to look at. Kinda shabby outside, and not that much better inside. The girls are OK, mostly on the heavier side and there was about a 50/50 mix of black and other race girls last thursday. The girls in DC clubs do look like a notch above looks-wise, but again... magic 3'radius of force field to avoid toughing. The Showcase girls give very enthusiastic lapdances for $20, I had about 4 or 5 on the night. Loved it!
