a unique low cost SC

A different twist on NYC's high priced low value SCs. Talking for free for long periods with strippers is encouraged, not forbidden at Lido Room. No bouncers itching to kick you out or force you to upgrade to CR or bottle service.

I sent email to rsvp, got 1 "you are added" email, then weekly automatic schedule emails. Brought 8x11 print out of email to Union Square location on wed night. Floor 2 regular public bar, Floor 3 has a "private party" signs and is another bar, but exclusively rented to Lido Room. Had to go through 2 bouncers, 1 checked ID for everyone regardless of Floor 2 or Floor 3. 2nd controlled access to Lido room on floor 3 and took door cover and put a wristband on. No metal detector, no pat down, no ID scanned into computer. I showed the 8x11 printout, then asked if we are supposed to get "cards" so I dont have to bring 8x11 paper. Bouncer got very confused about card request and was "can't you show the email on your phone?", I said no (dumb phone). He then found a generic "Lido Room" black colored membership/business card and gave it to me and said I can use that to enter.

Union Sq venue had a rooftop lounge/seating area with unused unstaffed bar but it was open to public and no use of it by Lido Room dancers or customers (a solo Lido customer or 2 couldve been there but I couldnt tell). Bathroom on Floor 3 had no attendant and no supplies. Typical grimy NYC bar bathroom that you would find anywhere else on the island. Bar owners take pride in New York how ghetto the bathroom looks and the Union Square bar was no exception. Since there is no attendant, BRING MOUTHWASH with you, with the free food and closeness to dancers you really need mouthwash here. There were only 2 benches enough for 4 people (2 pairs of stripper customer) that weren't in the LD area but nobody seemed to use them but me to talk with dancers. If you CANT STAND on your feet for long periods of time, do not come here. IDK about the other Lido Room locations other than Union Sq bar. I think I was the only customer that ever talked (not LDed) with a dancer sitting down that night. Every other customer other than me continuously stood unless they were getting LDs here.
