When in Russia ....

Was in Moscow for work, and decided to go clubbing one day, and hit the "Night Flight" bar the second night.

I took a taxi from my hotel to the club. It was fairly easy to find, and I arrived around 1 AM. In Moscow this is fine as the nightlife lasts till early morning, and this club is open until 6 AM weekdays, and 7 AM weekends. After going through metal detector, there was a gentleman who speaks perfect English (a native speaker I believe) who took my coat, and told me the entrance fee was 2000 rubels (~$30). This is more than what was previously reported, but makes sense given current exchange rates. He passed me on to a beautiful (fully dressed) lady who collected the money and walked me into the main room where she sat me at the bar. The room doesn't look all that different from a US stripclub, except there are a lot of beautiful girls. There were maybe about 10 patrons there, and most looked to be foreign businessmen. I paid 450 rubels for a beer, and watched a little of the show. Immediately, several girls came up to me one after another asking for either "dance" or "sex". It didn't take me very long to figure out that dances were 2000 rubels for one song in a private room; and sex was 15000 rubels for one hour in a private room allegedly with bed and shower (of this 10000 for the girl and 5000 for the establishment). Note that very few girls speak any English of note, so this is not a place for conversationalists. I met one girl from Finland who had what I would call acceptable English. Regarding the quality of the girls, it was pretty high with some very beautiful model type ladies working the room At one point all the girls came out together fully naked with pom-poms and danced on the stage while 2 girls had big "Aurora" flags waving them around. That was called the "lineup" and girls would stop by after asking for "sex room". Basically it allowed you to see all the girls up close in one snapshot, and make a determination on who would be "worthy" of your money that evening.

I tried 4 of the girls for private dances. All four were fully naked, and each one lasted about 5 minutes. All tried to upsell to "sex" during the dance. Roaming was allowed for all the girls in all places except for the kitty area. None would kiss, that was "only for sex room". I'd say none were really all that into the dance, and the sole purpose was to upsell. One offered takeout for 10000 rubels and said she could leave the club immediately and come to my hotel. That was the Finnish girl and I passed because I didn't come to Helsinki .. I came to Russia.
