It's one thing to hear about Detroit-area strip clubs, and another to experience it.

Negotiating for a "private dance" here was the most direct, open to possibilities, and low-hassle experience I've ever had in a strip club. Over a couple of visits, I have found the dancers on shift sufficiently attractive -- not world-class beauties, but pretty enough to arouse my attention. The club is small and dingy. The private dance area is particularly disgusting -- old chairs on worn carpet behind ragged curtains. Stage shows are somewhat halfhearted, but no one is here for the stage shows. During both my visits, I was quickly propositioned to go into the back, and walked out of the club a few ounces lighter (including the weight of $100-$150).
