The "Laid Back" Club in Madison
I've been here several times. I have a life on the weekends, so I rarely visit on a Friday/Saturday night. It's not the poshest club, but it's super laid back. Compared to Silk, the other Madison strip club, I definitely like it more. Whereas Silk feels like a business, this place feels like more of a party. Not a great one, but one where you can have a good time with the right attitude.
It's small. You walk in right in front of the bar. The bar area is on the left side as you walk in, and the dance area is on the right. The stage has two poles and is about knee height, so your lap is pretty much even with the stage while you're sitting. I've found that that's not necessarily a bad thing. The club opens at 6, and there's no cover before 7. That said, I've found it's not really worth it to show up that early. Things don't really get started before 7, and most of the girls won't get there for another hour or two after that. Like I said, it's pretty laid back. It's really a crap shoot on how many girls show up. I've been there on Tuesday nights with 3 girls and then a couple weeks later, same day of the week, there were 10. You will have a pretty good idea of how many girls are there on any given night by 9 or so.
The girls are surprisingly attractive given the atmosphere. We're talking mostly 6s to 8s, with a couple 4s, 5s and 9s sprinkled in. I was definitely expecting mostly 4s and 5s when I first walked in and saw the place. I'd say, ethnically, it's about 70-30 white to black girls. I don't recall any latin or asian girls.
