I hadn't been out to the Jolly Roger for almost a year. I made the trip over to Rock island on a Saturday night and was very surprised at what I found. The crowd was small for the hour, but the 3 big byob nude clubs in davenport rule the crowds early. The Jolly is a topless club which has steadily improved in club decor and talent over the last few years. The stage talent has improved a lot since my last visit. The stage is usually a mix of ACups and RoundBottoms but I was there over an hour and I was pleased with every dancer who took stage. None would have been principal talent at the big clubs but every dancer I saw could have worked at any of the clubs in the area. It's still not going to run any of the BYOB nude clubs from business, but from what I have seen it has as good or better talent than the any of the other topless bars in the QC region. Its biggest obstacle I see is its location one its in RI (they hate on strip clubs), plus being in what used to be the "working girl" area of RI and the worst is poor close parking availibility.
