Overpriced private dances

I visited the Traffic Light recently, for the first time in nearly 25 years. This club has been around a long time. I used to go there regularly when I was in my early to mid-20s. Due to a recent change in life events I decided to start checking out gentleman's clubs again and the Traffic Light is close to home and a relatively safe and secluded location. It hasn't changed much in appearance, the exterior and the interior.

I arrived after 8 p.m., so there was a $5 cover, which isn't bad. The place is dimly lit, which appeals to me. I sat at the bar. Bottled beer is $6. They weren't serving food at the time but a girl came by a couple of times offering free snacks (small slices of pizza and something else, which I can't recall). There is a main stage in the corner with a pole and a smaller, secondary stage. Dancers not on one of the two stages work the crowd, seeking private dances. I don't have much recent experience in these types of clubs but I'd rate the dancers as average to slightly above average in looks. Several were black. Some had large breasts, some with small breasts. They were aggressive in pursuing private dances. After turning down three or four and having about three beers I accepted an invitation from a young white gal with real small breasts.

What's unusual is the private dances take place in a secluded corner, but it's out in the open.You could have other guys sitting basically right next to you getting a dance, so no privacy in that regard. The good thing about it is it gives you the opportunity to rate how into it the dancers are. Dances are $15 per song. Many of the men were getting multiple songs. I paid for one. The girl straddled me and was grinding into me, first facing me, with my hands on her thighs, and then with her back to me, which enabled me to cup her breasts. When she turned around again to face me, I began sucking on her tiny breasts, as I had seen guys doing to other dancers. She scolded me, saying "no licking," which was fine. I didn't know. I should have asked beforehand what was allowed and what wasn't.

Overall, the dances are overpriced for the quality of dancers. They should be $10. It's not a bad place to go once in a great while, since it's local. The best thing is it feels safe, unlike some clubs in Detroit.
