Same, same

I've been coming to the Columbia clubs (Platinum Plus, Platinum West, and its predecessor, Heartbreakers) about once/month for the past 10 years - always in the afternoon. In the beginning, it was a lot of fun. There were plenty of girls, some were very good looking, some not so much, but at least you had choices. There were also customers. Now there are neither.

I got there just before 1:00. There was 1 dancer. By 1;30 I was on my way out the door when I noticed 2 more dancers coming in. The door girl told me they woud change quickly and be out on the floor soon, so I stuck around. it turns out she was right. The Russian girl (starts with a T, but don't remember the name) came out, did her dances, I tipped her, and she joined me. Good conversation. went back for a couple of dances. OK dances, but my mind is still tied into the dances the way they used to be, and this wasn't it. The other dancer was a black girl named 24 carat. Her dances were prettty good, but again, not the way they used to be. I ended up leaving by 2 to try Platinum Plus.
