too early

i had a couple hours to kill on a saturday afternoon and happened to be in the area. Arrived around 1:15, no cover, but was frisked by the bouncer which i found odd. Took a seat at the bar, and looked around. There were only 2 other patrons. No dancers. I asked the bartender if the club was open, and she assured me it was. So I sat...and sat...and sat. At 2:10, my ass was getting numb from the stool, so I went upstairs for a change of scenery. Finally the DJ called a girl to the stage. It was 230 at that point. The first 2 girls I saw were uninspiring to say the least. At 3pm I left. I won't go back on an early Saturday again, and it would have been nice to be told of a starting time when I got there. I don't understand opening and not having any dancers working...at least inform patrons if that is the case.
