On an upswing

You can see my previous review for a physical description of the club. The main point of this review is to point out that this club has recently turned for the better in terms of dancers. A couple months ago this club (and others in the area) were on the decline. I went a few evenings this week and was very pleasantly surprised at the uptick in number and quality of dancers. Thursday was a really good night. The board was literally full of names unlike the measly 4-5 dancers that I was seeing a couple months back. There was a good variety too, in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Daphne provided me company Thursday, but I also met a new girl going by Eucalyptus who was very nice and chatty (decent looking too). Friday night I spent some time with Dixy, who is a tiny little thing that was really enjoying her liquor that night, and that led to some great dances. Stopped in for a little while on Saturday and saw Eucalyptus again and got some dances from her. There was another new girl, Sunny, who is also a tiny little thing and had a nice couple of dances from her.

Now, with the exception of Daphne, and perhaps Dixy, much of the new talent is really new, not transfers from other clubs. Most of the girls I talked to had been dancing for less than 2 weeks. It shows on stage, but most of them still give a decent lap dance. I imagine some of them will leave for the other clubs thinking they will make more money (the typical rotation seems to be Paradise>Flamingo>Outhouse). But for now, things are good.

Also, there were a LOT more patrons this week. I literally had to wait in line to get in, and that hasn't happened in years. It is tax return season, and it is also nearing the end of the university semester, so I imagine both of those things factor into the shift.
