Wouldn't sell many calendars
I visited Calendar Girls in Auckland New Zealand on a Friday evening at 7:45. I wasn't impressed with what I saw. I only stayed for half an hour and don't plan to go back. There is a nz$25 door fee except for the first hour and a lap dance was nz$90 for 15 minutes. There were at least 10 dancers in the room and I didn't see a single one that was more than a 6. If this place really made calendars I don't think they would sell very many.
I intentionally went during the first hour so I wouldn't have to pay nz$25 just to check it out. Calendar Girls is located upstairs above a gaming room and sports bar on the ground level. There was no one at the door when I arrived, so I made my way up the stairs into the main dance room. The room was small with a small stage in the middle that had two poles. There were a dozen seats surrounding the stage and seating for another 30 people on a padded bench against two walls. A full bar occupied a third wall and the exit to lap dance area was on the fourth wall. A very small area!
There were 4 ladies standing at the bar talking when I arrived with two female bartenders behind the bar. One of the bartenders noticed me come in and told me I needed to buy drinks and tipping bills at the bar. The smallest paper currency in New Zealand is a $5 bill and is not very erotic to put a $2 coin in the dancers panties. So patrons buy Calendar Girl bills that are used for every thing in the club. (tips, lap dances and drinks). Before you leave, you can cash in any left over Calendar Girl bills for real New Zealand cash.
