Not sure what goes through the mind...
I stopped by this club as a courtesy to a dancer friend of mine who was in need of a new place to dance. I was unable to recommend this place to her. The approach seemed to lead me through a less-than-average part of town, and the building seemed to be a converted pole shed. I don't recall what I paid to enter, but I would have been willing to pay more just to get out.
I was one of only a few (about five) customers in the place and so I took a seat close to the stage. I actually decided to tip a couple of bucks to each dancer during her set, but even so I never had any of them approach me after they came off the stage. The best looking dancer in the place (blonde, about 30, stacked) was busy trying to negotiate a deal with a mid-40s guy who must have brought his kid to the club to celebrate his 21st birthday. The kid looked as if he was shy to the situation and looked uncomfortable with the arrangements being made, but I did hear the blonde say, "Don't worry, I'll take good care of you." He got up from his seat and followed her to the private dance area, and much to my chagrin I had to leave before he returned -- I was dying to see the look on his face.
Given that I knew the blonde was going to be occupied for a half hour (overheard the negotiations), and that none of the other girls were worth the money, and that I didn't want to get another private dance from a girl wearing pasties, I decided to call it a night and head home. I am unlikely to return, and my dancer friend is not likely to begin working here either. I should probably try to see what things are like on a weekend night, but with no communication from a dancer on a slow night what chance do I have when it's busy, if it actually would be busy.
