On Sunday night, there was a $6 cover charge, even though there were no dancers on stage. Table dances were $45/song, and you sit on your hands; the bouncer checks. The club has three or four stages, though of course they don't fill them unless there is a crowd. They allow cigarettes, so of course it stinks, but I've been in much worse. I'd say the reel factor is about the same as other places from the nineties, when you could still smoke in most bars, but be prepared to wash your clothes as soon as you get home. There's a room length bar where you can get bottled beer and mixed drinks for compartitively decent prices, $4.50 for a domestic beer.

It was Sunday night, so I didn't expect a lot of dancers. There were about 6 in the club, and none were ugly. There were a few that were a little full figured, but they were getting attention, they weren't overly heavy. There were a few with an overabundance of tattoos, which you would expect in anything but a high-end club. Relax, your not taking her home to meet your mom. As I said, the table dances were a total rip-off. The dancers are allowed to grind on you, but you have to keep your hands at your sides. For $45/song, I expected more contact. Shoot, for $20/song, I expect more contact.

I won't be going back to Sammy's. I go to strip clubs expecting to spend money, but I want to be better entertained for my dollars.
