In all honesty, Imperial is not my cup of tea for OC full nude clubs. I like the choice in the area for Topless and Full Nude clubs, but those that seem to walk the line in the middle end up to have what I like about the two types separately. Though to be fair, I had only been to Imperial the once, and thought it was worth catching again.

As it so happen, I came in on a Thursday night -- and every Thursday night is "80's Night". I didn't get all the details of what that meant, but the things I remember are the things I liked. First of all, the music was all a mix of across the board stuff from the 80s. Hair bands to early rap to even some of the good blue collar stuff from those days. Whether you like that stuff or not, it's refreshing for a club to play something different. That being said, I AM from the 80s, so it was all this great music I remember. The other big thing I couldn't miss is that they had a Private room special going on. They maintain their standard pricing for public dances ($10 per along the wall benches) and private "VIP" dances ($40 for 2 in a cubical room). Yet you could get a private room with a girl for only $100 per 30 minutes. I don't know how much the girl gets from that, but it was hard to beat. The private rooms were nice too, probably the nicest rooms in the whole building. The big deep couch was perfect for the ride. YMMV, and will tend to be low mileage in this club. But the thing that stood out for me in this experience is that I was lying in a darken room with a girl with 80s music in the background - and I felt like I was in my buddy's basement in high school trying to make out with his sister once more. Maybe not what I expected from a club this night, but was well worth the price.
