No communication of closing
As you can see of the reviews of this club, I've been a frequent patron. Through its multiple upgrades and personnel changes, I have remained a consistent fan of Red Diamond.
Which is why I am so disappointed in their handling of the indefinite closing. Apparently, a shooting occurred at the beginning of March which led to it being shut down. Whether there were any casualties is up for speculation for those who were there that night. Regardless, considering how dominant Red Diamond had become in Chicago land's adult industry, I would have expected some type of announcement by the owners and promoters about the who, what, when where, and why. They used to advertise daily through texts and social media and it all came to a screeching halt. All we got were the pitiful incoherent ramblings of one of the owners on Instagram. And apparently all of the regular dancers there have been threatened to be blackballed if they say anything about the future of Red Diamond, much less dance anywhere else.
I hope they get back on their feet but I'm writing this review to speak on how crucial it is for these types of establishments to communicate with the very fanbase which propelled them to greatness.
