Think of it as more of a bar with girls stripping to loud music.

I swung by the Cathouse after work on a Tuesday evening. No entrance fee since it was still Happy Hour before 7pm, with $5 domestic beers and $7 for a steak. Pretty cheap considering it was my supper for the night. During that time there weren't lots of dances and there tends to be a 10-30 wait time between dancers, but that's okay, I was paying more attention to the Hockey game on the TVs they have around the club. You can also play on the pool tables, there are a few near the entrance of the club.

Occasionally there would be girls coming around you looking for a private dance. It's half price on Tuesdays, so it was cheaper, but still considerably expensive compared to other places ($17 for 5 minutes). Also there is absolutely NO CONTACT between the dancers and the patrons, due to the Alberta By-Law that prohibits contact. There is even a 1 meter distance between the stage and the patrons to ensure that contact would not occur.

After Happy Hour, the TV shuts off and the prices increases, but so does the frequency of the dancers. More dances on stage and more girls trying to talk to you into giving you a private dance or a table dance (which is just a topless air dance where you sit instead of going to the back for a private dance).
