Didn't like the name, but pleasantly surprised!

I've avoided this place because of the name. It sounds a little ridiculous. But I had an hour to kill, and it did have pretty good reviews, so I stopped in.

The interior isn't anything to write home about. It was maintained, certainly. The chairs were intact—no holes in the vinyl, I saw no glaring damage to the bar, racks, stages, etc. No red flags, so I headed over to the bar. A lovely young lady helped me promptly (it wasn't crowded, maybe a dozen people in the whole place, but it still came off as attentive), asking what I'd like. Whiskey soda, my usual. She made the drink (not terribly strong, but strong enough) and said it'd be $4.50. Fair enough price, so I paid with a twenty and got the balance in singles, which I took over to the stage.

There was only one stage in use, and at least one other that was dark at the time. Not surprising, given the time. I sat down as one dancer was finishing her set and waited for the next girl to come up. I've been to clubs where I sat down and waited an awkward few minutes for a dancer to come on stage, but there was only a moment's wait between dancers. The first dancer I watched was good. She had some decent pole work, and gave attention to the guys at the rail. Didn't really smile much, but seemed friendly nonetheless. She made small talk, but didn't push a private dance. None of the dancers I saw did. I'm not sure how the pay structure works here, but there is a big sign saying dancers are paid in tips only. The second dancer that came out (Valentine was her name, I later found out) was more my type, covered in tattoos. We talked about them and about tattoo shops around town, and since I was the only person at the rack by this time, I got a fair amount of attention. In between sets, a bartender(?) came over and asked if I needed a refill, and at those prices, I decided to get a second, as well as another handful of singles. That drink came back quick, and the third dancer started her set.
