Day shift
Stopped in at Nikki's on a Thursday afternoon when the CIAA tournament was in town . I wanted to visit during this time , as I knew they would be busy because of the event . It did not disappoint as there were about 25 girls working . Several of the dancers were from out of town making a swing thru Charlotte. Noticed this one dancer that was especially well built (she looked like she could be a fullback for an NFL team ) , I started conversation and she said the she and her girlfriend had made their way down from New York and Canada, and on their way to Atlanta. We had a few $5.00 dances , and I also bought her a Hennessy.
The club has a main bar area that is ringed with a tile floor. The manager kept telling the dancers to stay off the tile and not approach customers or dance at the bar. This was ok with me , as it gave me a chance to take a break from the constant hustle. Later I talked with the manager and he said the rule was in place to prevent fights at the bar . If a customer decided to "make it rain" with bills , it would cause a scramble at the bar , and a possible fight between the girls .
It was nice to see the bar busy on a Thursday afternoon. After drinks, tips, and dances I left after a couple of hours and spent about $100 . Only stage dances, and table dances , did not see any VIP activities.
