Hole in the Wall

When I think of a hole in the wall, I think of a potential run down place, off the beaten path, that somehow retains some of its charm. Angels is just like that -- not the prettiest to look at, but a pretty decent experience nonetheless.

Walked in, grabbed a beer from the gorgeous bartender and caught a dance or two from the sole dancer on stage. No cover when I walked in. The place was pretty empty when I arrived, but as time passed, attendance grew. There are clearly a lot of regulars. The girls I saw were basically middle of the road but were quite enthusiastic. The bartender, on the other hand, was he best looking woman in the place.

In a nonpushy way, private dances were offered, which I declined. Higher than average mileage was alluded to, and I'll have to head back to try it.

All in all, the club offered a comfortable, low key atmosphere, at least when I visited, during the early evening shift on a weekday. I'll definitely be back to see what the private dances have in store.
