Jax's Best Strip Club

Jacksonville is not exactly known for its glowing collection of strip clubs. As a matter of fact, there are only a few worth visiting -- Wacko's is one of them.

As a previous poster mentioned, parking can be a challenge, but if you are patient - or resourceful - a spot will almost certainly open up. On some days, the club runs a shuttle golf cart back and forth across the parking lot so you do not have to walk as far. Once you enter, you are greeted by a mirror-lined hallway with a ticket booth to one side and a metal detector to the other. If you arrive before 6:00 p.m., there is no cover after that it is just $5.00. As you enter the main bar is in front of you with a small dance stage on the end closest to you. To the right is the main runway stage, DJ booth and seating, to the left is another smaller, round stage with seating all around and the VIP and Champagne rooms.

Happy hour runs until 7:00 p.m with 2-for-1 bottled beers and double well drinks. I like to grab a couple of Stellas for a very reasonable $5,00 and sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar afford a good view of all three stages and makes it easy to get another drink when you are ready. It also provides wandering dancers an easy opportunity to slide up next to you and start a conversation.
