Further down the spiral
This review turned out a bit long, you can skip to the last paragraph if you don't care about the physical club details. Its mostly about one particular visit, but often times I've added clarifications based on multiple visits.
I don't see a recent description of the club, so I'll start with a bit of that. It's located near the NE corner of Okeechobee & Military, the entrance is a little east if you're on Okee & little north if your on Military. There's decent signage if you're looking for it, but it doesn't stand out much. Once you've found the street, its at the far end of strip mall. The only other current business is the gun store/range on the near end. There's a few potholes, but otherwise the parking lot is ample and in good shape. Before 7pm, parking is usually free. After 7pm, its a crap shoot. Sometimes, a large section is coned off with an attendant demanding $5 to park in the unconed area or offering to valet for anywhere from free to $15. Other times, its wide open with no attendant or fees. Obviously, the more of peak time it is the more likely there is to be someone out there, but its not like its every Friday/Saturday.
To get inside, you walk up a few steps and into a lobby which is now usually staffed with a greeter. She'll take your $2 daytime entry fee or $10 after 7, and usually check your ID. A few time they wanted to scan my ID, but when I protested they agreed to just look at it. She's usually cute & friendly, and will also make change for you. Once that's taken care of, there's another set of doors you go through to enter the main area. It's dark in there, and there's sometimes chairs in what seem like walkways, so watch your step. On your left, there's the main bar. There's probably about 20 seats, which all face away from the main stage. There's also a half height wall with a counter that you can set your drink on and watch the stage from. In front of you, there's the main stage. The stage is decent sized and raised off the floor to a height that is just above your lap when seated.. I'd say there's around 30 seats around it but I've never counted. Off to the right, there's two tiers of VIP/bottle service seating. The first tier is one step up, literally. So don't trip. Those seats are still mostly on the main floor, but no one is going to snake your seat while you get a dance or use the pisser. Behind those, there's a larger area with a couple more private booths that are separate from the main floor but can still see in via a large opening in the wall. In the back right corner, there's the DJ booth, a walkway to the dressing and champagne rooms, and another bar. The back bar is usually closed, except after 11 or so on busy nights. In the final corner, there's the walkway to the restrooms, an entrance to a dance area that looks like its become a storage area, another semi-private table for bottle service, and then the entrance to the actual dance area. The dance area is separate from the main floor, but is just one long walkway with a long bench with dividers and small tables every few feet to turn it into a row of love seats. Overall, the place is well appointed but the maintenance is marginal at best. Most of the chairs have stains on them that I hope are gum, but I suppose could be cum. There's no shortage of burn holes either. I'm sure the carpet is nasty, but its so dark you can't see it. The bathrooms are hit or miss, on this trip they had been cleaned and there was an attendant. Other times, there's been no attendant and a broken soap dispenser, no paper towels, a strong smell of piss, and/or towels all over the place.
