The Condor is an old club (the oldest legal topless place in the US, according to one dancer). It sits in the middle of strip-club alley on Broadway. It's on a corner next door to two other clubs (Roaring 20's and Hungry I) and around the corner or just down the block from a handful of others. There's a large old-style neon sign out front with the club name and "Topless A-Go-Go".

I'm not sure what a regular cover charge is. I visited twice, once on a Tuesday and once on a Thursday, both times arriving shortly before 10pm. On Tuesday the doorman checked my id and said "it's quiet, so just go on in". On Thursday he asked for a $5 "entertainment charge". I'm not sure what entertainment was meant, since it was just the regular dancers (no headliner or other particular show). It's possible arriving later when the place is a bit busier will result in a larger cover charge, but I didn't ask about it.

Inside the main part of the club is basically a rectangle with the entrance at one short end and the stage in the middle of the left long side. There are chairs around the stage, then a row of tables with pairs of chairs, then a row of booths big enough for maybe six each wrapping around tables and facing the stage. The stage itself is raised a bit, and has one pole in the center, which ascends multiple stories. There are screens on either side of the stage that played various sporting events much like TVs in a regular bar. Knowing the age of the place, I half expected something pretty run down, but I didn't find that to be the case. The decor has a dated style, sort of a throwback I suppose, but the furniture (plain black, except for the red chairs around the stage) was fine and reasonably comfortable. There's a back area, with the bar, some more seating, and a tiny second pole dance "stage", as well as a section with the lap-dance booths. There's also an upstairs section where the private VIP spaces are, along with a balcony with seats that overlooks the main stage.
