Beer & a Lapper

The thing about the topless places out here is that you can get a pretty decent show, a couple of beers, and maybe a hottie riding your crank for a while all for a pretty reasonable price. I like clubs like this when I am looking to kill an evening without the constant dance hustle. Because I can't say no to a pretty woman - Not only do I not end up breaking the bank by shelling out my paycheck in a secluded VIP room, I don't head home after 15 minutes to 'clean-up' (at least not for a few hours). So, as long as the show is good & drinks are reasonable, I am having a good time.

I rolled in on a Friday before midnight, and the club was jumping. The crowd that night was your more stereotypical strip club crowds -- pods of younger guys out on a guy's night out; couples enjoying the show while the wives were urging their husbands to throw singles; Asian businessmen with wads of cash for the girls. There were girls out who wanted to be friendly were fun, and girls working the guys were getting what they were working for. No matter what, everyone was having a good time, and that's all that matters.

It was the first time here for me, though I am a fan of it's sister club in Santa Ana that is full nude. This club is clearly larger, and set-up to cater better to the topless crowd. Everything in the club was set-up to turn you to the stage; from the number of tables, to the long rail, to the bench booths along the wall, to a couple of VIP seating areas. Full bar with pretty reasonable prices (I was having the $6 beers, but they ran bucket and pitcher specials). Lighting and music that gave a good dance club feel, and just enough TVs so you have something to look at to stave off a girl you don't want to make eye contact with.

Lots of girls here tonight, and a good mix or what you could want. There weren't as many working the floor as I expected (or hoped) and the real cute ones were snatched up into longer conversations with good customers. The stage shows were quite good though. They were slightly disappointing from what was shown (yes, it's just a topless bar, but when the girl is only up for 2 songs, you would hope at least more than half of one you would see nipples); yet there were high quality moves - especially some high talent on the pole. In a real twist for an OC club, those girls were cleaning up on singles - it was raining in that place tonight.

Dances were in a secluded part of the club with some good privacy couch cubicles. $20 per dance, with an occasional 2 for $20 deal, was a little steep for bikini / low mileage dance. But dances felt like an obligation to this place. All the fun was happening on the main floor.
