Wednesday Visit

I stopped into the Porthole Pub for a first time visit while in Florida for business due to reading reviews on this website. The club is located on the end of a strip mall shopping center. It looks small on the outside.....as well as on the inside. I walked in mid-afternoon and was not charged a cover charge. The bar is located directly in front of you as you walk in and the single stage was off to the left. The bar has that neighborhood feel to it as there were a number of locals sitting bar side......and a good number of ladies visiting patrons and working the floor. I settled in for an inexpensive drink and watched a couple of dancers on the stage. A couple of girls came by to say "hi".....but none delivered the infamous "Porthole Handshake".

Took one dancer to the back for a couple of dances.......but we just didn't click so I stopped at that point. Left after 45 minutes or so in order to beat the rush hour traffic. Will stop another time when I'm in the area as I loved the "dive atmosphere".
