I visited Cabaret Le Carol at 20:40 on a Monday night. The strip club shares a parking lot with Motel de L'Aeroport. I paid a $3 cover charge to the lady working the door. The bouncer who seats you also needs to be tipped; I gave him a loonie. A bottle of beer was $9. The base price is $7.83, but there is $1.17 in tax automatically applied. There were no Sincweisers to be had, as Le Carol only sells Molson Coors products. I had to resort to Coors Light. Draft beers are cheaper than bottles. Drafts cost $5.75 for a 12-ounce glass, $7.50 for a 20-ounce glass, and $21 for a pitcher. Tap beers are currently Coors Light, Molson Canadian, Rickards, and Blue Moon.
There is a semicircle stage on the left wall with two stationary poles. There is a bar with nine stools on the right wall. There is premium seating and five video slot machines along the back wall. All seating in the main spectator area is bingo hall chairs and little round tables. There are worn couches along the front wall for table dances. Private dances take place in a room accessed by walking through a doorway between the bar and the DJ booth. Nude private dances are $20 per song and full contact. Mileage varies with the dancer.
There were six dancers working on Monday night with more coming in as I sat at the bar. The whole time I was there, only two dancers performed on stage. The stage show definitely takes the back burner in Quebec clubs because there isn't stage tipping like there is in the United States. The stage show is mostly dancers showing off their bodies to the crowd, hoping it yields private dances once they finish their set. As a result, I did not get dancers names and can only describe them.

I got eight lap dances with Marianne. I liked seeing and feeling her pornstar body up close, but she was a total hustler. It took her several songs to drop the thong. When I was going to stop and pay after five songs, she kept pushing the envelope a little farther to get another song out of me, to which I foolishly obliged. When we were done, she tried telling me we did eleven songs like I was an idiot that could not count. I stood my ground after thirty seconds of arguing with her and walked back to the bar. I fully expected her to lie to the bouncer and have him on my ass. I had befriended a couple Quebec pill pushers and a miner from Labrador City, so I knew I’d have numbers if things got messy. My adrenaline was pumping, and I was hyped for a strip club brawl. It never happened. Mariane went to the DJ, and he either told her the correct song count or she realized I was not the easy mark she thought I would be. Avoid the ripoff bitch Marianne and be careful of dancers trying to overcount songs.
Motel de L'Aeroport is just steps from Cabaret Le Carol. Rooms are only $55 per night. Sometimes you can find dancers who are willing to do OTC at the motel.
