Afternoon Delight

As so many have said, King Henry is a great place to have a few drinks and a few dances in the afternoon. I get there 5 or 6 times a month and can only remember a couple of times when I left without a dance. I have a few regulars I like to get dances with and even when they are not there, there are a lot of interesting possibilities. What is different about King Henry's compared to other clubs I visit is the frequent party atmosphere with drinks flowing and people laughing. It is the closest thing I have to Cheers where the Bartender knows what I drink and has it waiting for me when I make it to the bar. As people point out, this is a black club with a variety of looks and shapes among the dancers. Mileage in the dance area is about the same as the City of Industry clubs, maybe a little higher. There is not a VIP section so there is not a comparison with the COI VIP's. At $15 per dance, the financial hit is not huge and I appreciate not getting a lot of tip requests.
