Different, but good
Visited NOLA for a few days in late December. After spending a night on Bourbon street, the consensus seemed to be leave Bourbon and look for something elsewhere. A short uber away is this place. Other reviews have said it, but the first thing you notice after you pay the $5 cover charge, which is waived for pretty much any reason, just talk to the door guy, is the layout. The two bars are the stages, the dancers stop at every patron, and a dollar tip is obligatory. It does start to add up. If you don't want to be spending singles steadily like that, there is a pool table, and of course private dance areas. There were 3 levels of dances, a semi-private for $20 or so a song, a private for $30 or so, and a VIP room that was time based. Mileage varies greatly from girl to girl. There seemed to be a type of girl for everyone, though mostly younger skinny girls. All in all, quite different from the bourbon street hustle, although not necessarily any cheaper or better. The whole NOLA experience seemed to be very much YMMV.
