Going Down Hill

I hadn't been here in a while, but was driving by about an hour before closing and decided to stop in. It's a dive, though the owner has put some money into the interior in the last year or two. The roof still leaks though, so you'll want to watch where you sit when it's raining (which it's been doing a lot of lately). The pole is currently missing from the one stage. I asked about that and was told that it broke when a girl attempted to jump from the trapeze bar to the pole. I've seen that trick done probably a hundred times there and always wondered how long the pole would take it. I guess now I know.

Drinks are reasonably priced. I think I paid $6.25 for a decent whisky on ice. The girls are also reasonably priced at $20/song, but you might or might not like what you see. That night there were four dancers still there when I arrived: two of them were fours (overweight and not particularly attractive even ignoring the weight); one was a six (not particularly fat, but big and also not particularly attractive); and one was an eight if you didn't mind the fact that she's about three to four months pregnant.

I finished my whisky and left, having satisfied my curiosity about what Dream On is like these days.
