I'd Stop Here Again

I hadn't been to CR Northeast since it was called Dangerous Curves, so it's a good ten years or so. Overall, it was better than I thought it was going to be. As long as you face away from the door, it's a decent looking club. Not upscale at all, but not a dive. Unfortunately, if you take a seat facing the entrance it looks a bit dumpier.

The lighting around the club and the stage is very well balanced, calibrated slightly brighter than most clubs but still dim enough to give a chill vibe. The good lighting helps a lot since the stage setup has the dancers maybe two or three feet further away than at sister club CR Bristol, so you can get a good look at a girl of your liking. Also, the music wasn't obnoxiously loud, which was nice. Also, the ventilation seemed to do a decent enough job of keeping the cigarette smoke from becoming too obnoxious.

I was there from about 8:30 to 9:30, so during the middle of a shift change. On the plus side, I got to see a lot of the dancers and many of them looked hot. On the minus, my sense of the overall attractiveness of the dancers might be skewed. After the shift change, there'd probably only half as many ones I found hot. I'd say half, if not more of the dancers were latina. Some young, some maybe in their 30s, but none on this night were of the crypt keeper variety.
