Return Visit to Dreamgirls at Rick's

It was the Friday night before Christmas week and I decided I needed to get out for a visit to a club. The last time I visited Dreamgirls at Rick;s was in June, so it had been a long while. I pulled into the parking lot and it was pretty packed, so I ended up parking in the area to the east of the gas station. I paid the usual cover when I entered, but you can use a pass from their website for "free cover." You still have to pay $10 for the bottomless drink though. The club hasn't changed much except for the few holiday decorations that were in place (Christmas tree in the corner, some garland, etc...). The place was surprisingly not that busy considering the full parking near the front of the club, but I suspect that most of the cars are those of the dancers since it was pretty cold out that night (and raining).

The talent was quite mixed, as some dancers looked really hot and others were not so much. Compared with my experiences here in the past, I would have to say that the talent level is not as high as it used to be. I did find a dancer who I had not seen in forever and she immediately recognized me when we made eye contact. After catching up for what seemed like an hour, we headed to the VIP room for some dances and for some fun. Again, the place wasn't packed so finding a spot was not difficult at all. This differed from who packed the place used to be on Friday nights. After our dances, I went back into the main room and just relaxed and watched some stage action. Again, the talent level for this club needs to be elevated. It's such a nice club, probably the nicest facilities in the state, go to waste so the management team here needs to step up their game to pull the hottest dancers back. That's it for now.
