My go-to club in Battle Creek
My TUSCL stats tell me that I've written 90 reviews of 75 clubs. This means that, until now, I have reviewed 15 clubs twice, usually because something had changed or it had been several years since my last review. Little did I realize, on my first visit to Heart Beats in August 2014, that I would be reviewing it a third time so soon. This club must be doing something right to merit such favorable attention from a hardened old SC veteran such as myself.
Once again I was visiting family in Battle Creek and got away late on a Saturday night to check out the hotties of Heart Beats. Once again I paid no cover, sat at a stageside table, and drank a $6 "tall" Bud Lite while tipping the stage dancers. And once again I bought a couple of dances from each of two fine young ladies, with the second one getting the job done. This time it was a stunning young blonde with huge natural breasts on a slender 5' 2" frame -- one of my weaknesses.
The club is located at the corner of Avenue A and 20th Street, just two miles from downtown but not very close to I-94. As you enter from the Avenue A (south) side of the building, you see a single stage with two poles in the middle of the room, a bar at the left end, and comfortable booths along the other three sides as well as a number of tables close to the stage. The waitresses are attractive and attentive without being overly pushy. The music is all over the map, from classic rock to country to hip-hop to pop. The energy level has always been high on my three visits, late on weekend evenings. The dancers are mostly quite good-looking and mostly white with no evidence of silicone. On this particular visit I would estimate that there were 15 dancers, of whom only 2 or 3 were black.
