a reason for Thanksgiving

I came to the club the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I found the club to be an underappreciated jewel of a club. Very nice staff, nice girls. Excellent layout, very sports bar like but where were the customers. The place was dead. After visiting friends for the weekend I drove from Dallas to Houston and back to Dallas. I chose to stay at a hotel on the outskirts of the airport but within walking distance of Rick's. Nice price drinks, and plenty of mileage with cheap 20 dollar lap dances. I would have gladly gotten a VIP room dance but there was none available. I don't know the rules in Fort Worth but I guess it was refreshing that this club wasn't all about squeezing every penny from the customer. Very little hustle, I almost would have preferred.

At the end of the evening, I asked them to call me a cab but instead they provided a free shuttle service. I was grateful and I'll be back.

Someday. I live in New Hampshire after all.
