Prices up with mixed results

Silk is pretty easy to get to - a short drive west of the town of Middleton (which itself is adjacent to Madison). It's on a country highway just as things start to become pretty empty, and its sign can't be missed as there's nothing else around. The lot is lit and every time I've been there, a bouncer/doorman has been hanging around outside so it seems pretty safe. The entry fee was $10.

Inside, the main club area is a basically one big rectangle. The entrance is at one corner very near the T-shaped stage that takes up that end of the club. Sets of small tables with chairs around them fill most of the rest of the space, with a bar taking up the full width of the place on the wall opposite the stage. There's a second smaller bar closer to the stage and around a small corner that leads to the lap dance section. Everything is in pretty good shape; the bathroom was clean. The stage has three poles - one on each side and one on the end of the "T" that sticks out from the back wall. The back wall has a bunch of colored lights and a glass section revealing the shower area for those shows. The waitresses were attentive, checking in frequently but not obnoxiously. My Coke was $3.50.

The night I was there (post 11pm on a Saturday) was mildly busy, but had fewer patrons than I remember from my last Saturday visit, possibly due to the holiday season. The stage was kept busy, however, with three dancers going pretty much all the time. They would come out and dance for a song on one section/pole and then move to another. The dancing was decent - better than a previous visit. All of the dancers got fully nude while on stage, usually over the course of two-three songs. There was a fair bit of just moving from one stage-sitting patron to another to collect tips in return for boobs in the face. The dancers were mostly pretty attractive. They tended towards thin (one was rail thin) but a few were more curvy. There was one dancer with a very obviously enhanced chest that might have been more of a turn-off (for me) but she did some pretty impressive gymnastics on stage that took my attention from the implants. When I caught the eye of passing dancers, they stopped by and sat down next to me to chat. None of the women I met this visit were great conversationalists, but they were friendly and made an effort.
