Probably the best club in Houston right now

I live in Houston and have visited all the major clubs over the years, and been a regular at various times at the big 3, Treasures, St James, and Men's Club. And it seems their heydays go in that order. MC is currently the crown jewel. (Also the opinion of a retired ATF from Treasures)

The club strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern, between high end dance club feel and SC fun. This review is for the 6-7 visits in the past few months.

Parking is free and plenty. The club doesn't look very big from the outside and has only one floor. But the red-ish lighting and sign give off an intimate, inviting vibe. Not seedy at all. Through the front door (has some glass on it, a nice change from big wood SC doors) we enter the spacious, warm lobby, with a nice gift shop to the right. Everything just feels upscale and it IS - this club is the definition of upscale IMHO.
