Great bar, but always packed

I used to live up the street from this club, and have been there a number of times. Like the name suggests, Sassy's is more of a bar with dancers rather than a real strip club. The 'private' lap dances aren't really that private and there are no secluded VIP areas.

The selection of girls is top notch -- usually tattoo'd and pierced, but also the art hipster type from time to time. The dancers are typical Portland people, but the crowd can differ depending on the day & time. I would avoid going to Sassy's on Thursday/Friday evenings and especially on the weekends. It's packed with out of towners and frat bros down from Eugene/Corvallis and suburbia. I suspect they all walk down from Dig a Pony from down the street (after getting drunk). Also, ordering stuff at the bar can be a bit slow. The place is already somewhat small and it's way too packed on the weekends. This place is more of a bar that you go with your buddies to have a beer rather than to get lap dances.
