I was walking from the front entrance of HK to the taco stands to the west. Along the way one will run into beggars, folks selling candies, shoe shiners, and random employees of other clubs/parlors trying to get your attention. On this night one gentleman handed me a card for D&G. After much insisting (I respect the professional drive) he was able to get me to take a gander at this place.

D&G sits roughly kitty-corner from HK. The street is a little less well-lit and the exterior a touch more worn. When compared to the B-list clubs in the area (everything other than HK, Adelitas, Chavelas), it's not awful. There actually are a number of girls (contrasted with Gold Palace or Chicago) working and many were cute. No absolute stunners to be found this night but for those who might enjoy a lower pressure and less loud setting, this can be fun. Girls accepted take-out for as low as $45 per half hour, or even 600 pesos. No exit fee to head to my room at Cascadas. Feel the rush of first world spending power! Fucked up, I know.

I had read an article on another site warning of trannies that would solicit and pickpocket tourists on the northwest corner of Calle Caohuila and Ninos Heroes. Not sure how old that post was but I saw no signs of them. In fact, the overwhelming police and military presence my entire trip was comforting in an unsettling sort of way.
