Really Nice Club - with some Give and Take

There's some adjustments - some give and take - that I had to accept, but in the end Foxy's is a pretty class act for clubs in the area.

First impression, Foxy Lady is a genuinely good looking club. The exterior looks more like a fine dining restaurant. You pay your cover ($10 on a Friday night) at a classic coat check area. Then you enter a spacious club that is well laid out and classically decorated. They present it as two stages - a high-up broad stage with the only pole where a girl will warm up for a song, and a lower runway where all the action happens. Lots of rail seats, but twice as many tables and chairs around the room. Balcony surrounds the main floor where the VIP section is. Full bar with quieter seating back by it. TVs around just enough to not distract from the floor. Kitchen. And in a quirky twist, a Lottery/Keno desk. Just like the outside feels like a nice establishment, the inside does as well - wood finishing, tasteful stuff on the wall, even chandeliers that fit the theme. It was decorated for Christmas, but it wasn't throwing cheap discount lights over thee rafters - there appeared clear intent to maintain a level of sophistication to the club. I arrived around 8p for the afterwork crowd but surely after a shift change. You could tell there was a fair bit of regulars. Later in the night, there were probably as many women customers with their husband/boyfriends that I have seen in a club - so that seemed to make it more of a friendly environment.

It was, however, bright in the club. The lights weren't up full, but it was brighter than most restaurants. When you walk in, and you can see the faces of every other customer in the room, it takes time to get comfortable with it. The dance section is about as private as dinner table during the holidays - it's underneath the top stage with no walls separating it from the rest of the club, filed with chairs and couches separated by nothing. You get a dance and everyone will get to watch, and if it's busy you will be pressed up against others. That probably is the theme for this place -- you have to adjust your 'give a shit' meter down.

There was a featured dancer starting at 10pm; whether or not that mattered, it meant the place slowly filled up until that time.

There were tons of girls through, closer to 30 overall. If you are looking for ethnic, this isn't your place - maybe one AA, one Asian, one Indian, but wide variety of white girls from emo to buxom to petite to tough. If you are into thinner, smaller breasted, blonde/bottle blonde girls - this is a candy store.
