Definite Dive but friendly dancers and staff

Daddy Rabbits's was a new experience for me. I got to see a very different part of Richmond. The neighborhood was a little more run down than Richmond and the club was definitely a dive - maybe in the upper strata of the dive category - but definitely a dive!

Chester has some rule about accommodating non-smokers, so they have a seperate entrance at the back for non-smokers. I rung the bell multiple times over a 10 min period before they finally opened the door. They don't generally tend to that door until later in the evening. Upon entering I noticed that I was in the private dance area. To get around the non-smoking rules, they offer a non-smoker the private area which does not have a view to the stage. Lol! What is one supposed to do in there?!

I walked into the main club that had a rectangular stage with a couple of poles and seating around it. The bar was directly opposite on one of the long sides of the stage and seating along the walls filed the rest of the club. Two corners did have lounge type seating. Red leather for all the seating competed the picture for this dive.
