Goldfingers Saturday night review

I hadn't been to Goldfingers in a while and decided to stop by with a friend after dinner. Club setup is the same as it's always been, with a single center stage with a plenty of seating with a juice bar in the back. There aren't any frills with the interior - standard black interior with typical mood lighting. The only thing they've upgraded in the past couple of months is the VIP section, where they've installed newer booths.

This visit left me and my friend pretty disappointed. There was a marked lack of talent while we were there (8:30-10:30PM), which was shocking for a Saturday night. They were showing the boxing match in the bar next door so maybe a lot of the girls didn't want to show up until after it got finished. But while we were there, we didn't see more than 10 girls working. Also, the ones that were there were average at best in terms of quality with most girls in the 6-7 range with maybe one 8. Most of them gave the standard SD "want a dance" line and then took off as soon as it became apparent that we weren't interested in any of the dancers working, although they kept circling back over and over the entire time we were there. A couple mentioned that the manager was hounding them to sell dances, and I've run into a couple of girls working at other clubs who have complained about the management here not being that friendly.

Anyway, it seems like the club is in a down phase in terms of the number/quality of dancers working so I probably won't be going back for a while until I know it's picked back up.
