I don't often go to Archibald's....

I don't often go to Archibald's. Every time I do go, I remember why I don't go there very often.

Archibald's has a great location. It’s right on K Street in the heart of D.C.'s business district, near lots of great restaurants. It’s a typical layout for a D.C. strip club -- a long, relatively narrow room with 2 or 3 separate stages. The dancers, mostly 5's or 6's (for big city strippers, that is), are generally good looking but not the most polished looking. All stage dances, no contact (typical for D.C.) Drink prices are pretty typical for D.C.

The reason, and in my opinion the only reason, to go to Archibald's is its convenient location. The atmosphere is where Archibald's really falls down. The service staff is indifferent and sometimes hostile. The customers and some of the dancers are kind of depressing. It’s hard to describe, but some clubs just have the personality of being the second or third tier club.
