Hit or miss, but more hits than misses.

Crazy Horse is an interesting club. It's in a slightly rough area, is pretty middling in terms of the physical club, and it's on the seedy end of the clubs I've been to in the area. I stopped in around 6:30pm and there were about 15 dancers listed as being on the schedule, though I only saw 5 or 6 out in the club. Most of the dancers were just not appealing to me at all - either physically or because they just don't look pleasant and happy. I tipped a few songs at the stage (usually $2 / song is table stakes for sitting front row), had an okay time, and debating leaving since I hadn't seen anyone I wanted to get a dance from.

I was then approached by Lyla, who asked if I wanted a dance. Now, I almost never accept a cold dance request - I like to sit and chat, or see the dancer perform on stage, to try to see if there's good chemistry. But she had a great smile and a nice body, so I went for it. So glad I did! She immediately sensed the type of dance I wanted (which is really calm and sensual rather than grindy) and did a fantastic job reciprocating and just mutually enjoying the experience. I ended up doing two sets of 3 for $100s for her, and gave her a small tip on top of it. Will definitely try to find her again in the future.

As for the title, when I say "more hits than misses", what I mean is that I typically can find at least one dancer I want to take to VIP and end up having a good time. A few times I ended up leaving without a dance, and that's a miss for me. Overall there aren't a ton of dancers I've liked there, but I've found a few that I'll look for. Note that you can check on the website to see who is in the club at any point in time if you have someone you're looking for. The website is terrible in general, but that part seems pretty much realtime.
