DB - just know what to expect

Was strolling down aurora ave and was actually going to get a pizza (a door or two down from DB), but I saw some ladies (either quite a bit older or have had a tough go of life) standing outside as I approached. There was a guy there as well (all smoking cigs) so I thought they probably worked there. I had some time to kill, so I thought to myself 'surely that's just bad advertising...how can a club stay in biz with that sort of advertising?) I also thought these could have been 'neighborhood ladies' (hunting is ripe on aurora in that area for those into that), but I figured it was my civic duty to see if DB got any better if one was brave enough to go inside. Besides, I've been in the area a while and I hadn't been there yet.

So - as others described, its the only place I have ever been with an adult shop hooked onto the front, but given the area and the other shop right across the street, this isn't so odd afterall. I paid a cover, the amount of which I don't remember ($5 or $10) and made my way in. It was pretty empty - which is always the risk early in the evening, but I figured I should grab a seat anyway and get a sample of what DB has to offer.

I will say, the offering was better than the club represents on the front end, but it is on the low (very low) end of the clubs I prefer, but in line with what one would expect. I got a drink and sat few a few dances. As I said, it was pretty empty on the inside - that includes patrons and dancers - so my sample may not be great, but I saw a couple on the low end of 4-6 and a couple on the higher end. I didn't get any private dances as I really only came to get some pizza. All in all, after a night of drinking I would roll back in here without hesitation, but I wouldn't put it on my list if I were planning a night out at the strip clubs.
